Welcome
Clayton Miller has photographed locations as far away both physically and culturally as the Native Yards of South Africa's Cape Town, or Cuba's often photographed Havana as well as her lesser-seen neighborhoods like Lawton or San Miguel. While those journeys took him far and wide, Clayton Miller's work has also been comfortably and expertly practiced in the wee hours of the AM in downtown Detroit to capture the beauty of twilight from the air in a helicopter. In addition to Clayton's commercial work, Clayton has also produced images for a small neighborhood display- a consignment installation of photographs of CTA's Rail sits on permanent display at The Rail Tavern in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood. Special needs, interesting assignments or Raw Reportage styled capture are what gets Clayton's blood flowing. Clayton always strives to produce images that capture what matters, and "what matters is what remains invisible to the eye".
